I finally figured out the secret to how ugly sweaters stick around for so long!
The owners of those unsightly garments must have a Fabric Shaver.
This is a must have tool to keep your knit wear looking new. I picked one up at Superstore for under $10. Of course, it didn’t come with batteries, so plus another 8 bucks for AA batteries. It was totally worth it. I went home and shaved ALL my sweaters!
This little device is the “anti-aging” cream for clothing. (If only actual anti-aging cream works that well) All the pill-ies and fuzzies from everyday wear and wash were instantly shaved off.
I even used this little shaver on my Vancouver 2010 red mittens!! After wearing them to 2 Ceremonies, 11 Olympic events, numerous local events/houses and the GOLDEN CANADA vs. US Men’s Hockey Game (GOLD Canada GOLD!!) my pair of $10 red mittens (now…apparently $200 on Ebay) was pill-ier and and fuzzier than Quatchi’s back fur!
Now they look good as new and ready to cheer on the Paralympic Winter Games!
