Bachelorette Monday continues! My classmate that originally hosted our Bachelorette Mondays, is currently jet setting around Europe with her hubby, so yesterday’s Bachelorette viewing took place at another classmate’s house. Of course, we had a BBQ fest of chicken breast, smokies, toss salad, potato salad, corn, bread and dip, more potatoes and strawberries. YUP… 2 girls can gobble up all that believe it or not.
Side note: must have dip of the summer – Artichoke and Jalapeno from Save-on-Foods! Deadly and addictive, I am SO hooked.
Last night I also experienced the luxury of having PVR (Tivo). Finally! I get to call the shots and not have TV run my life! It was 8:00 and the Bachelorette was starting we weren’t quite ready to sit down yet, so what do you do? Then BAM! my classmate whips out the remote hits record and paused it while we finished making dinner. I was like….”WHOAH.. this is too good to be true” she was like…watch this. When it got to commercials, she fast forward through them. NOW I’m like…”WOW…” where was I when Tivo was invented. Damn, I’ve been living in a closet.
Speaking of closet…I wish I had Jillian’s closet. I swear Artizia must be her sponsor. I must have counted 3-4 different coloured TNA hoodies in just one episode. Aritzia is also taking Special Orders for the 2010 Winter Olympic Hoodie she was wearing last episode.Visit Arizia’s Blog for more info.

So, this episode took place in Whistler. Just watching all that snow made me shiver a bit even though we were just outside barbecuing. This little Bachelorette is fearless! She went zip lining, snow mobiling, glacier plane riding (I don’t know what you call it) and a little bit of hot tub action…*wink wink* It must have been tough for her to do this show, it seems like a never ending emotional roller coaster. One scene she’s laughing her head off, next scene she’s a bit pissed off and annoyed then another scene she’s ballin’ her eyes.
I think this episode I would have cried along side Jilly. *sniff sniff*… (warning: episode spoiler) my Technology Consultant, Ed, decided to leave the show, all because of a stupid conference call from his boss. Come back to work…or loose your job. He was my personal favorite. He’s just so darn cute. He’s kind of reserved, a little quite, a little nerdy, not really confrontational with the guys, super sweet and caring to Jill. You know… the strong, silent, masculine type. Sigh… but he made the decision to leave.
Personally, I think Ed made the right choice to walk. Sure, if I was Jill, I would be a little ticked off that he picked his career over her, but at the same time you always tend to want what you can’t have. Ouuu…. that just made Ed that much more sexier… the hard to get type. lol. Anywho, as I was saying, it was too short of a time for Ed to really get to know Jillian, or vice versa. In fact, I don’t know how any of these boys and Jillian “really” get to know each other. Sometimes, I wonder, with all those camera and crew around, do you hold back your “true” feelings? this is a “competition”… is it just a “race” for the trophy?
Whatever it maybe…I’m still watching it! at least for the shoots of Vancouver and Whistler and to support a fellow Canadian-Vancouverite-BCIT Interior Design alumni. Next week train ride though the mountains!…. hope it’s not a train wreck…
*sigh….Ed <3 best luck in your endeavors~

OMG I want that hoodie!!!!!
I noticed the serious TNA presence in that episode too. So funny. I can spot TNA from a mile away!!!
Go Jake Go!
But this show is kinda unbelievable just cuz . . . I don’t believe ppl could fall in love and decide they wanna spend their lives together after just a few weeks. Yeah I know. It’s Emotional G saying this. LOL.
