They are the cuties things EVER and they’re life size!
Today at Trout Lake Community Center Miga, Quatchi and Sumi, the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games Mascots, were there to meet and greet people from the community. The event was called Pulse to the Podium: Celebrating Vancouver’s Countdown to the 2010 Winter Games
The event took over the gymnasium and the soccer field of the community center.
Just to name a few of the activities, here are some highlights:
- Outdoor rock climbing wall
- John Hendry Park Scavenger Hunt
- Wii Sport and Winter Games
- Skate board bob sled race
- Face painting
- Bouncy Castle
- Trivia Games
- Various relay games
- Craft tables
- Best part: Meeting the Mascots
Personally, I thought this was an event for all ages. I might of had a little too much fun running around with the little kids, trying to get a photo with the life-size mascots. What can I say, I’m a big kid at heart.
